Most of Marriott's 30 hotel brands are not required to offer free breakfast. But many independent Marriott hotels do, and it takes a handful of brands to deliver, depending on where you travel. These Marriott brands are your best bet, sports fitness .
Marriott Residence Inn. The range of these breakfasts varies by location, but the brand promises a "full American breakfast." Expect a basic continental breakfast with hot dishes like eggs and bacon.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott. While mostly continental, such as yogurt and fruit, some places offer few hot buffet items, such as eggs, jalapeno cheddar baked soufflé, and spinach quiche.
TownePlace Suites by Marriott. Most TownePlace Suites offer a basic hot breakfast buffet that includes eggs, sausage and waffles in addition to cold continental options. Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. The brand offers popular options like eggs and breakfast meats, as well as waffle irons, fruit, toast, and the usual corporate continental breakfast items.
Marriott element. Element offers a standard Marriott limited hot buffet breakfast with some hot items in addition to continental options. As a bonus, many places offer free adult drinks in the afternoon.
Note that other Marriott brands do offer free breakfast to certain elite members. Marriott has six status tiers: Member, Silver Elite, Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite and Ambassador Elite. Customers on the top three floors can enjoy free breakfast at many Marriott hotels around the world. Breakfasts range from a full hot buffet to a fully customized à la carte breakfast.
But it doesn't make sense to spend more than you save a little on breakfast. Spending an extra $50 to earn a $25 benefit is a losing proposition. So don't join unless you also have access to other membership benefits.
