Fengyuyan, Lipu, the longest-running cave in Guangxi's developed waterway
At present, among the caves developed in China, the longest water route is the Fengyuyan in Lipu. The rock is located in Sanhe Township, Lipu, and the main entrance is 16 kilometers away from the county seat. It is named for the rich oil and fish in Yannei underground river. It is a huge underground river-type karst cave with a total length of 5.3 kilometers, which runs through 9 peaks. The caverns are connected with each other, with the largest area of nearly 30000 square meters, sports fitness .
There are various stalactites in the cave, among which one stalagmite is 9.8 meters high and only 14 cm in diameter. It is known as the "sea god needle" and can be regarded as one of the best in the world. The cave is divided into two parts: the land scenic area and the underground river scenic area. The land travel is 2 kilometers, the water travel is 3.1 kilometers, and the water surface is 8 meters to 20 meters wide. The karst cave landscape with different shapes on both sides of the underground river is new and mysterious.
In March 1995, after visiting the cave, the famous poet He Jingzhi happily wrote: "The first cave in Asia".
