Angola, Republic of Angola
Angola is located in southwestern Africa, adjacent to the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo to the north, Zambia to the east, Namibia to the south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. Its coastline is 1650 kilometers long. The area is 1.2467 million square kilometers. Most of the country is a plateau with an altitude of over 1000 meters, with high terrain in the east and low terrain in the west. The Atlantic coast is a plain area. The Moko Mountain in the central and western regions has an elevation of 2620 meters, making it the highest point in the country. The main rivers include Kubango River, Kuanzha River, Kunei River, and Kuando River. The Congo River (Zaire River) in the north is the boundary river between An and the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire). Most of the country has a Savanna climate, and the south has a subtropical climate. Although Angola is close to the equator, due to its towering terrain and the influence of the Atlantic cold current, its highest temperature does not exceed 28 degrees Celsius, and its annual average temperature is 22 degrees Celsius, earning it the nickname of the "Spring Country",sports fitness .

Angola - History
During the Middle Ages, Angola belonged to four kingdoms: Congo, Ndongo, Matamba, and Lunda. The Portuguese colonial fleet first arrived in Angola in 1482, invaded the Kingdom of Endongo in 1560, and established the city of Luanda in 1576. At the Berlin Conference from 1884 to 1885, Angola was designated as a Portuguese colony. In 1922, Portugal occupied the entire territory of Angola. In 1951, Portugal renamed An as the "Overseas Province" and sent a governor to rule. After the mid-1950s, the Angolan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM), the Angolan People's Liberation Front (SPLF), and the National Alliance for the Complete Independence of Angola (UNITA) were successively established. On February 4, 1961, the "An People's Movement" began armed struggle. On January 15, 1975, the three organizations mentioned above reached the Avol Agreement with the Portuguese government regarding the independence of Angola. On January 31st, the three Angolan organizations formed a transitional government with the Portuguese authorities. Shortly after, there was an armed conflict between the "People's Liberation Movement of the People's Republic of China", "Anti Liberation Front", and "UNITA", and the transitional government disintegrated in August. The Portuguese authorities announced on November 10, 1975 that they would "hand over power to the Angolan people". On November 11th, the "People's Movement of Angola" announced the establishment of the People's Republic of Angola, Angola
