The Republic of Zimbabwe, formerly known as Rhodesia (before 1980), abbreviated as Zimbabwe, is a landlocked country in southeastern Africa with a land area of 390000 square kilometers. The country is divided into 10 provinces, with the capital city of Harare and a population of 15.18 million, mainly consisting of the Shona (84.5%) and Endebelle (14.9%) ethnic groups, sports fitness  .

A centralized state began to form around 1100 AD. In the 13th century, the Kalenga people established the Kingdom of Monomotapa, which reached its peak in the early 15th century. In 1890, it became a colony of the British South African Company and was named South Rhodesia in 1895. In 1923, the British government took over the area and granted it "Dominion" status. In 1953, Britain merged South Rhodesia, North Rhodesia (now Zambia), and Nyasaland (now Malawi) into the Central African Federation. At the end of 1963, the "Federation" disintegrated.
In 1964, white right-wing forces in South Rhodesia formed a government led by Ian Smith and declared independence in November 1965. In the 1960s, the Zimbabwe African People's Union (ZANU) and the Zimbabwe African National Union were established to engage in armed struggles against white racist rule. In 1979, various factions in Zimbabwe convened the London Constituent Assembly under British auspices.
At the end of February 1980, parliamentary elections were held, and the Democratic League led by Mugabe won. On April 18 of the same year, it gained independence and was named the Republic of Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe is a country with relatively developed industries in Africa, with manufacturing, agriculture, and mining as the three pillars of its economy. Zimbabwe is famous for producing high-quality crocodile skins and is known as the "land of crocodiles". The country is rich in natural resources and has a good foundation in industry and agriculture.
