Scenery
The unique geological, geomorphic and climatic conditions make the Dangling Scenic Area still preserve the original natural ecosystem and a large number of rare animals, plants, insects and other living fossils that have disappeared in most areas since the Quaternary (2.5 million years ago), becoming a very important geological history museum and species gene bank in the world. At the same time, it is also one of the most representative regions in the global biogeographic region, with extremely important protection value and scientific research value.

Dangling Snow Mountain is the northern part of Hengduan Mountain, the Great Snow Mountain. The whole Dangling Snow Mountain inclines from the northwest to the southeast in a south-north direction. The main peak, Xiaqiangla (Tibetan means "Beauty Fairy Mountain"), is 5470 meters above sea level. The holy and beautiful Beauty Fairy Mountain has always been listed as one of the important holy mountains in the surrounding mountains centered on Mount Murdo. It is regarded as a holy mountain by local Tibetans. There is an endless stream of visitors, and it has become a holy place for religious people in Tibetan areas to worship. Around the main peak, there are 28 snow peaks with an altitude of more than 5000 meters, forming a magnificent scenery surrounded by peaks and connected by snow mountains. Dangling Snow Mountain is also the highest snow mountain that the Red Army climbed during the Long March. So far, many well-preserved red army stone slogans have been left at the foot and top of Dangling Mountain.
Dangling Nature Reserve is a subtropical mountain type. Based on the original natural ecological environment, characterized by extremely high mountains and alpine landforms, with snow mountains, haizi and azalea forests as the main scenery, combined with streams, hot springs, meadows, Jiarong Tibetan Village temples and other combined types of landscapes. The scenic area has magnificent mountains and rivers, beautiful scenery, various biological species, and complete natural ecosystem. Perhaps because of the high altitude here, the Dangling scenic spot is shrouded in the charming autumn in the first ten days of October every year. The colorful forest is so beautiful that people want to cry, and all they breathe is the breath of autumn.

1. Hot spring: There are two Dangling Hot Springs, one is the sulphurous wooden day episode, which means gunpowder bath in Tibetan. The other is the Buka episode with a large lawn around it, which means lawn bath in Tibetan. Both hot springs are located about 4 kilometers south of Dangling Village. The hot spring water keeps flowing all year round, with the maximum flow of more than 3000 tons in the day and night. The water outlet temperature of the spring can reach 75 ℃ at the highest temperature. After testing, the spring is a neutral and high-quality medical hot mineral spring of heavy sodium carbonate type, containing a variety of minerals, which has a unique effect on neuralgia, gastrointestinal diseases, diabetes, arthritis, etc. 2. Red leaves: In Dangling Scenic Spot, there is a steep hillside, and the whole mountain is covered with red birch forest. When the wind blows, the birch leaves and the birch bark that are about to unfold make a rustle. In the early autumn and winter, you can enjoy the open-air hot spring: enjoying the hot spring, watching the red leaves, and enjoying the snow scenery. 3. Alpine lakes: There are more than 30 smokey alpine lakes in the Dangling scenic area, including Huluhai, Zhuoyongcuo, Matuo, Siagne, Ayumocuo and so on. These alpine lakes, known locally as "Haizi", are moraine barrier lakes and cirque lakes formed after the retreat of Quaternary ancient glaciers. They are inlaid in the valley, just like a five-color precious mirror. Huluhai, located 5 kilometers upstream of the Koruko River in Dangling Scenic Spot, is the most accessible and most valuable lake in Dangling Scenic Spot. The water of the lake is clear to the bottom. Scaleless fish swim in the lake. Swertia, argali, takin and other rare animals often come to the lake for drinking. Various wild ornamental plants compete for beauty around the lake. The road to Huluhai has not been built yet, so you can only ride horses or walk for sightseeing.
