"Karajun" is Kazakh, meaning "the wilderness on the ridge". Karajun Mountain is a mountain stretching from east to west. On both sides of it are comb-shaped mountains with ravines. Karajun Grassland
Kerajun Mountain stretches across the Kerajun Grassland in an east-west direction, stretching for 42 kilometers. It is 25km wide and connects to the Kapsalang Valley in the north and Qiongkushitai in the south. The altitude is between 2000 and 2800 meters. The total area is 1050 square kilometers, including 230000 mu of grassland, belonging to the alpine meadow grassland, which can carry 150000 livestock. Comb-shaped valleys on both sides of the main mountain are densely covered with mountains.
There are the best mountains, meadows and grasslands in Ili, the beauty of hot springs, waterfalls and stone forests, and the wonders of glaciers.

Passenger ropeway
Kalajun passenger ropeway is located in Kuoksu Gorge, Kalajun Scenic Spot, Yili Tex County, Xinjiang, about 23km away from the county seat. The cableway station is of steel frame structure, with a total length of 680 meters and a drop of 380 meters, a total investment of 42.78 million yuan, an area of 5557.53 square meters, and a building area of 4546.28 square meters. The construction project includes the upper and lower cableway station buildings, parking lots, green belts and ancillary facilities. The cableway station operators have completed the pre-job training and obtained the qualifications for driving, maintenance, welding and other related operations.
The passenger ropeway in Kerajun Scenic Area will be officially put into use in 2016 to realize the new experience of aerial stereoscopic view and lay a solid foundation for the development and construction of Kerajun tourism. [1]
