What are some precautions for the route of the East Tibet Glacier?
In the original design of the route of exploring the source of the Three Rivers+crossing the ancient Creya Road, it was really difficult to skillfully connect the two routes. Both Sanjiangyuan and the ancient Creya Road are popular cross-country travel routes with great difficulty, fame and popularity. These two lines have rich off-road elements and magnificent landscapes, but they are separated by the vast Hoh Xili and Qiang Tang uninhabited areas. Originally, these two lines are parallel and will not intersect. How to implement the transition between the two parallel lines and increase the attraction of the line is a problem we have been thinking about, sports fitness .
At that time, there were two ideas when designing the route. The first one was that whether Sanjiangyuan or the ancient Creya Road, the journey was hard enough and took a relatively long time. If the two routes were connected, it would be better to implement the transition as soon as possible in accordance with the principle of short and fast, so as to shorten the travel cycle and improve the attraction of the route. If according to this idea, the route design after the trip of Sanjiangyuan should be Yushu - Leiwuqi - Dingqing - Naqu - Lhasa, In this way, the line transition can be completed in 2-3 days; The second idea is that because the Sanjiangyuan in section A and Ali Middle Line+Kriya Ancient Road in section C are both attractive journeys. If the middle journey is too mediocre and there is a suspicion of making up the number, it is better to divide the route directly and divide it into independent Sanjiangyuan and Kriya journeys. Then, according to this idea, we should design the B segment between the AC segments to be attractive enough. It does not reduce the attraction of the A C segment because of its existence. Therefore, we should design the elements of the B segment to be interesting and attractive enough.
After a comprehensive consideration, we finally chose the second way of thinking. The design of the B section is relatively "tortuous", and try to increase the number of small tourist attractions and the hidden glaciers that few people visit.
About the journey of Sanjiangyuan+Creya Ancient Road crossing the small glaciers in eastern Tibet in section B, you may share some travel experience that you may be interested in:
1. The best viewing season of the glaciers in eastern Tibet is inversely related to the peak season of travel in Tibet. Due to rainfall and climate factors, the glaciers in eastern Tibet do not show much attraction in summer and autumn. The best season to go to the glaciers in eastern Tibet should be in winter and spring, except that the glaciers are more snow-white and spectacular, and the road traffic capacity is also stronger than that in summer and autumn;
2. With regard to the Rongrong Glacier, several world-class magnificent glaciers have developed in eastern Tibet, of which five are known to be open to the outside world. As the largest hanging glacier in the world, Rongrong Glacier has attracted many tourists' attention, but the Rongrong Glacier that most tourists go to is not the right one. Most tourists go to Buga Snow Mountain Glacier, which is located next to National Highway 317. The real world's largest hanging glacier is located at the junction of Dingqing in Tibet and Zaduo in Qinghai, and there are few tourists;
3. With regard to the Iga Glacier, although there has been news that the Iga Glacier will resume its opening to the outside world, until the first ten days of May 22, the Iga Glacier was still closed. At the intersection of Niwu Township (also known as Zhongyu Township and Zhongyi Township), there was a temporary inspection tent to stop it from passing. If you want to enter Yiga Glacier, you need to get up early;
4. With regard to the route selection to Sap, it took only a few years for Sap to develop from an emerging tourist attraction to a "accessible" road network. At present, it is known that there are three routes to Sap: the most common route is to enter directly from the intersection of Yangxiu Township, which connects with, for example, the border dam; Cross-country crossing from Medica Wetland; Go to Jiagong Township from Jinling and Niwu Township. At present, our preferred route is to go to Jiagong Township. If the landslide or snow is blocked, we will choose the conventional route instead, and the alternative route is Medica wetland cross-country crossing route;
5. Select the route to Lhasa after Jiali County. After arriving in Jiali County, there are two routes to choose from. One is to go to Niwu Township, take Bagai Township, Yigong, Tongmai to Linzhi, and go from Linzhi to Lhasa; The second option is to take Zhigongti Temple and Mozhugongka directly from Jiali County to Lhasa. We took the first option 21 years ago, and started to take the Mozhugongka line this year.
