The Republic of Indonesia (in English:. It is a Southeast Asian country with Jakarta as its capital. It is connected with Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Malaysia and other countries. Indonesia has a land area of 1913578.68 square kilometers and is composed of about 17508 islands. It is the largest archipelagic country in the world. Its territory spans Asia and Oceania. It is also a country with many volcanoes and earthquakes. Larger islands include Kalimantan Island, Sumatra Island, Irian Island, Sulawesi Island and Java Island. There are 3 local special zones and 31 provinces in the country. With a population of 271 million (December 2020), Indonesia is the fourth most populous country in the world. There are hundreds of ethnic groups, of which the Java ethnic group accounts for 45% of the population, the Sunda ethnic group accounts for 14%, the Madula ethnic group and the Malay ethnic group account for 7.5% respectively [2]. There are more than 200 national languages, and the official language is Indonesian. About 87% of the population believes in Islam, making it the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, sports fitness    .


From the 13th to the 14th century, it formed a powerful empire in Java and became a Dutch colony at the end of the 16th century. It was occupied by Japan in 1942. After independence on August 17, 1945, they successively armed themselves against the invasion of Britain and the Netherlands, during which they were forced to change into the Federal Republic of Indonesia and join the Dutch and Indian Federation. It was restored to the Republic of Indonesia in August 1950 and separated from the Dutch and Indian Federation in August 1954.



Indonesia is one of the founding countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the largest economy in Southeast Asia and a member of the Group of 20, with strong aerospace technology. The net export of oil resources can be realized. Indonesia was a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) (1962-2009) and is rejoining the organization recently [3]. In 2021, Indonesia's GDP will be IDR 16970.8 trillion (about US $1.19 trillion), up 3.69% year on year, and the per capita GDP will be about US $4349.5
