The State of Israel, or Israel for short, is located in western Asia, bordering Jordan in the east, Syria in the northeast, the Gulf of Aqaba in the south, Egypt in the southwest, the Mediterranean in the west and Lebanon in the north. It is the junction of Asia, Africa and Europe. It belongs to the Mediterranean climate and the terrain is high in the east and low in the west. According to the provisions of the 1947 United Nations resolution on the partition of Palestine, the area of the State of Israel is 15200 square kilometers. At present, the actual control area is about 25000 square kilometers. The coastline is 198 kilometers long. The country is divided into 6 districts, 30 districts and 31 cities. The capital was Tel Aviv when it was founded. In 1950, it moved to Jerusalem, but it was not universally recognized by the international community. As of September 2022, Israel has a total population of 9.59 million, and believes in the three major religions of Judaism, Islam and Christianity. The official languages are Hebrew and Arabic, and English is widely used， sports fitness .
The ancient Jewish ancestors, a branch of the ancient Semitic, originated in the Mesopotamian plain about 4000 years ago, and later moved to the east of the Nile Delta in Egypt to avoid natural disasters, hence the name "Hebrew". At the end of the 13th century BC, they began to move from Egypt to Palestine. The State of Israel was established around 1000 BC. In AD 70, they were driven out of the Palestinian area by the Romans. On November 29, 1947, the General Assembly adopted a resolution to establish an Arab State and a Jewish State in the Palestinian region. On May 14, 1948, the State of Israel was formally established in accordance with the resolution.
Israel is a developed country with a mixed economy and a high degree of industrialization. It is dominated by knowledge-intensive industries and has a high level of technology in high-value-added agriculture, biochemistry, electronics, military and other sectors. Israel's overall economic strength is strong and its competitiveness ranks first in the world. In 2021, Israel's GDP will be 416.6 billion US dollars.
