The Kingdom of Bahrain, abbreviated as Bahrain, is an island country located in the southwest of the Persian Gulf, between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, connected by a sea crossing bridge with Saudi Arabia. It has a tropical desert climate with hot and humid summers, with an average temperature of 36 ℃ from July to September. In winter, there is rainfall when the temperature is cool, and the average temperature from December to February of the next year is 10 ℃ - 20 ℃. Other times (March to May, October to November), the temperature is between 20 ℃ and 30 ℃. The annual average precipitation is 71mm, and the land area is 779.95 square kilometers. Bahrain is divided into four provinces, namely, the Capital Province, Muharrak Province, Northern Province, and Southern Province. The capital is Manama. As of June 2022, the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China shows that the population of the Kingdom of Bahrain is 1.5 million, with foreigners accounting for 55%,  sports fitness   .

The city was founded in 3000 BC. The Phoenicians came here in 1000 BC. In the 7th century, it became part of the Arab Empire and belonged to the province of Basra. It was occupied by the Portuguese from 1507 to 1602. From 1602 to 1782, it was ruled by the Persian Empire. Independence was proclaimed in 1783. In 1820, Britain invaded Bahrain and forced it to sign the Persian Gulf Peace Treaty. In 1880, it became a British protectorate. In March 1971, Britain announced that all treaties it had signed with the Persian Gulf emirates would terminate at the end of the same year. On August 15, 1971, Bahrain declared its independence and established the State of Bahrain. In 2002, the name of the country was changed to the Kingdom of Bahrain.



Bahrain is the first country in the Gulf region to exploit oil, pursuing a free economic policy, and joined the World Trade Organization in 1995.
