The Kingdom of Bahrain, abbreviated as Bahrain, is an island country located in the southwest of the Persian Gulf, between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, connected by a sea crossing bridge with Saudi Arabia. The city was founded in 3000 BC. The Phoenicians came here in 1000 BC. In the 7th century, it became part of the Arab Empire and belonged to the province of Basra.
