Malaysia (Malay, English: Malaysia), referred to as Malaysia for short, is a constitutional monarchy and a federal country, with the capital of Kuala Lumpur and the administrative center of the federal government, Putrajaya. The country is divided into 13 states and 3 federally administered regions, with a total area of 330000 square kilometers,sports fitness   .

Malaysia is located in Southeast Asia. Its territory is divided into east and west parts by the South China Sea, namely the southern part of the Malay Peninsula (West Malaysia) and the northern part of Kalimantan Island (East Malaysia), with a population of 32.7 million (2022), of which 69.4% are Malays, 23.2% are Chinese, 6.7% are Indians, and 0.7% are other races.

At the beginning of the 15th century, the kingdom of Malacca, centered in Malacca, unified most of the Malay Peninsula. Historically, Sarawak and Sabah on Kalimantan Island belong to Brunei. In 1888, they became British protectorates. In World War II, the Malay Peninsula, Sarawak and Sabah were occupied by Japan. Britain resumed colonial rule after the war. The Commonwealth of Malaya declared independence on August 31, 1957. On September 16, 1963, the Commonwealth of Malaya merged with Singapore, Sarawak and Sabah to form Malaysia (Singapore withdrew on August 9, 1965).



Malaysia is a multi-ethnic and multicultural country, and the official religion is Islam. Malaysia is a capitalist country. Its economy has made rapid progress in the 1990s, and it is one of the four tigers in Asia. It has become an attractive diversified emerging industrial country in Asia and an emerging market economy in the world. The country implements the new economic policy of giving priority to Malays and aborigines. In 2021, Malaysia's gross domestic product (GDP) will be 1545.4 billion ringgit, with a GDP growth rate of 3.1% and a per capita GDP of 47260 ringgit.
