Russian Federation (Russian: Российская Федерация), Also known as Moscow, the capital of Russia, it spans the Eurasian continent and borders 14 countries. It covers a total area of 17.0982 million square kilometers and has a national boundary of 60933 kilometers, including a coastline of 38807 kilometers and a land boundary of 14509 kilometers. It is composed of 85 equal federal entities. As of January 1, 2023, the permanent population of Russia (including only Russian citizens) is about 14642.5 million, with a total of 194 ethnic groups, mainly Russian, mostly Orthodox, and the official language is Russian,  sports fitness .


From the late 15th century to the early 16th century, a multi-ethnic feudal state gradually emerged centered around the Grand Duchy of Moscow. In 1547, Emperor Ivan IV changed the title of Grand Duke to Tsar. In 1721, Peter I (Peter the Great) changed the country's name to the Russian Empire. In 1861, serfdom was abolished. In February 1917, the Bourgeois revolution overthrew the autocratic system. On November 7, 1917, the October Revolution broke out, establishing the world's first socialist state power - the Russian Soviet Federal Socialist Republic. On December 30, 1922, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was established. On December 25, 1991, the Soviet Union disintegrated, and the Russian Federation became a fully independent country and the only successor to the Soviet Union. On December 12, 1993, after a referendum, the first constitution of Russia after independence was passed, which stipulated the name of the country as "Russian Federation".



Russia is one of the major economic powers with strong basic scientific research capabilities, especially in cutting-edge technologies such as aerospace, nuclear energy, and military industry. It has abundant energy and mineral resources. Russia is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, and its diplomacy has a strong influence on the world. In 2021, the gross domestic product increased by 4. 5% year-on-year



The capital city of Moscow is the political, economic, financial, scientific, artistic, educational, and commercial center of Russia, as well as the largest city in Europe. It covers an area of 2560 square kilometers and is located in the central European part of Russia, on the banks of the Moscow River. It covers an area of 2561 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 12.3 million (as of September 2022).



Moscow is the largest comprehensive industrial city in Russia and the financial and commercial center of Russia. The city has complete industrial departments, developed heavy and chemical industries, and the machinery and instrument manufacturing industry accounts for over 50% of the city's total industrial output value. The city is also the largest military industrial center in Russia, with developed aviation, aerospace, and electronics industries. There are over 1000 commercial banks in the city, accounting for 50% of the total in Russia. Financial assets account for 85% of the country, while investment and commercial activities account for 90% of the country. Foreign investment and economic output rank first in all of Russia. The city has complete public transportation facilities and is a transportation hub for all of Russia.



Moscow is a center of education, technology, and a historic and cultural city in Russia. The proportion of citizens with a university or higher education level ranks among the top among major cities in the world. There are numerous higher education institutions and universities in the city. The Russian Academy of Sciences and its over 90 research institutions are located in Moscow.
