The Republic of Albania (English: Republic of Albania), referred to as "Albania", is located in the west of the Balkan Peninsula in Southeast Europe, bordering Montenegro, Serbia and Northern Macedonia in the north and northeast, Greece in the south, Adriatic Sea in the west, and Italy across the Strait of Otranto, covering an area of 28700 square kilometers.
