Aruba

Aruba is an island located in the Caribbean region, off the Gulf of Venezuela in the north of the South American country Venezuela, only about 25 kilometers away from the Paraguana Peninsula. Aruba is an autonomous country in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and its relationship with the Netherlands is similar to a Commonwealth system. Aruba is a limestone island with flat terrain and no rivers at all, famous for its surrounding white beaches. Due to being blown by northeast trade winds from the Atlantic all year round, although located in a tropical region, Aruba can maintain a stable climate of 27 degrees Celsius throughout the year, which is beneficial for tourism development. The highest point on the island, Mount Jamanota, is only 188 meters above sea level. Compared to the barren east coast, the vegetation and population on the west coast appear much richer.

Mount Jamanota is the highest point on the island at a height of 189 meters (620 feet), with Mount Hooiberg (meaning haystack), a 171-meter (560 foot) high remnant hill, being the most distinctive hill. The annual average temperature is 27 ℃ (81 ℉), with little variation and is regulated by the northeast trade wind. The rainfall is small and variable, with an average annual rainfall of about 430 millimeters (17 inches). The island is located outside the range of the hurricane. Natural vegetation includes various drought resistant cacti, shrubs, and trees.
