Vanuatu
The Republic of Vanuatu, abbreviated as Vanuatu, is located in the western South Pacific, belonging to the Melanesian Islands. It is situated 1900 kilometers east of Brisbane, Australia, 800 kilometers west of Fiji, 230 kilometers north of New Caledonia, and 170 kilometers south of Solomon. Its capital is Port Villa. As of January 2023, the total population of the Republic of Vanuatu is approximately 320000, sports fitness  .

Vanuatu people lived here thousands of years ago. Discovered by Spanish explorers in 1606. The French arrived here in 1768. In 1774, Captain Cook of England came here and named the place "New Hebrides". In October 1906, Britain and France signed a co administered treaty, and the area became a co administered colony of Britain and France. In 1963, indigenous people established their first political party, the Rural Party, calling for land reclamation and independence. Internal autonomy was implemented in January 1978. Independence on July 30, 1980. After independence, Walter Lini, the leader of the New Hebrides National Party (later renamed the Vanuaku Party, abbreviated as the Waku Party), became the first Prime Minister, and Sokomanu became the President.

The Republic of Vanuatu is economically backward and graduated from the United Nations list of least developed countries on December 4, 2020. Agriculture and tourism are the pillars of the Wa economy. The service industry and construction industry, mainly based on tourism, are the main driving forces for driving the economy. In 2022, the gross domestic product (GDP) was 980 million US dollars, with a per capita GDP of 3050 US dollars and an economic growth rate of 1.7%.
